Hey guys! So I recently got a 1983 C10 Scottsdale to fix up. First problem? The truck will start but it goes full rev because EVERY vacuum hose is missing & the Carb adjustment is all kinds of messed up. Does anybody have a video or diagram of where all the Vacuum hoses go?
Edit: 350 Auto with Rochester Quadrajet Carb

Without knowing anything else, should be able to get it running with all vacc ports blocked off except vacuum advance and pcv valve. The one should be a small nipple off the base off the carburetor to the small nipple on vacc advance. The pcv should run into the front of the carb, most likely, from the right angle valve on the valve cover. Bigger hose. Everything else should be optional at best, so you can keep it running properly

Here’s one from an ‘86 with a 305 and QuadraJet. Maybe this will get ya started. Wouldn’t think vacuum cares what size engine it’s pulling from.

350/350 w/ non-California emissions? If so, this one’s should be correct. If it has a 700R4, forget about the vacuum modulator for the transmission. If it’s a California truck, it’ll have a feedback carburetor and not look like this at all.
