1981 C10 cab swap

I have a 1981 C10 step side which the cab is in really bad shape now my question is would a year 79 Cheyenne cab fit on the my frame and what all parts would I have to change with it now the seller has the cab an all parts for the 79 cab my doors an fenders and hood are all in good shape as well would they fit onto the 79 cab

Most folks do the reverse swap. The cowl area under the hood is different starting in '81. The cab mounts are a different size as well. The cabs are very similar otherwise with the exception of interior paneling and door glass thickness, and vent windows, and floorpans....
