In the process of returning my exhaust system on my 1980 K10 131.5 wheel base to stock. I pretty much have found all the components to make it work except for the intermediate pipe between the CC and the muffler. You can find this pipe for the 117.5WB truck but not for the 131.5WB. Anybody know where I can find one or should I buy the shorter one and try to extend it. My engine is 350.

He's looking for the part that has "NA" where the part number is on that diagram... That means it is not available.

Try finding a Goerlich exhaust catalog, perhaps it will have it listed. Is it possible it's just a straight length of pipe? I don't see why the 117.5" chassis version, with a piece of pipe 14" long between it and the muffler wouldn't work.

Not sure why you want to go to a single 2.5" exhaust though. Any special reason?

I bought it out of state and Illinois is going to want to look at it at least once before it gets exempt from emissions testing. thanks for your help. you are reading the rock auto catalogue the same as me.

I tried to use a straight pipe for that spot on mine and it threw the whole rest of the exhaust off its proper alignment. I'd try to find the right one somewhere or try the one for the other wheel base. Are you buying a new cat? Look in Rock Autos universal parts section. I paid 35 bucks for the one I just slapped on mine.

Sorry, I read it backwards. Here it is:

900 CENTER
38205 Exhaust Pipe 1
OE system was a welded assembly. It is recommended that all parts noted [1] should be replaced. 131.5 Wheelbase

Is it possible to order on line from A&E?? Can't seem to find how to do it.

In that case, they're probably just going to look for a converter, muffler, and an intact AIR system if equipped. Pipe diameter and routing are probably not a concern.
