Hi All,

Do dog dish hub caps fit with the large rear hubs on a 8 lug C20?

Sorry I don't have any hub caps right now. Looking for a set of wide steel rims and dog dish hub caps for the old girl.

You need the right hub caps. 8 lug 16 inch rims use the ones with 6 "spokes". 6 lug 15 inch rims use the 5 spoke hub cap.

Most C20's came with the big hubs and poverty caps. The semi-floater rear wasn't even introduced until '81.

I believe 1973 - 1976 used this style of cap on C20 - K20 trucks

If you look at the picture of my truck in my Avatar (or whatever its called) you can see a 14 bolt FF with stock 16" GM hub caps. I also have an unconverted NP203 (front hubs always locked) and the front hubs fit under the hub cap. For locking front hubs I would need the hub caps with a hole in them to access the locking mechanism.

My truck had factory 16.5" split rims and the hub caps were long gone. I switched to 16" one-piece rims because it was easier and cheaper to find tires. Found the GMC 16" hub caps on eBay.

Bruce , your truck and mine are pretty close to the same equipped rides. 350, 350, 203, 4.10 , 16.5 when new. Now ,like yours 16 inch wheels and a few upgrades. 75 K20 Chevy

What size tires are you running in that top picture and are those stock wheels or aftermarket "stock type" wheels?

It's not my truck, but painted the same. My notes say it's a K30 with 33" tire and a 2.5" lift. The web page that sold the truck no longer has the info posted on it. I would assume the tires are 285/75R16 or 305/70R16. I have 305 's on my truck with a 10" wide wheel. I'm guessing this truck has 285's on a 7-8 aftermarket wheel.

Here's my K30 with a 3" lift to compare.
