I have a 73 k10 that the engine harness has been hacked up. My first question is which wire coming out of the firewall goes to the oil sender? I have seen a diagram that said it was a blue wire. But I don't have a blue wire. I'll make a pic of the connection and see if anyone can identify some of the stray wires.

'73-'77 had a mechanical oil pressure gauge. There should be a copper/brass tube that screws into the block near the distributor, then winds around a couple times before passing through a grommet in the firewall and then goes to the back of the cluster.

can anyone identify the 2 small brown wires that are side by side at the bottom left and the black wire at the top with a fuse holder attached to it?

Interestingly enough, it looks like the junction block is on it's side... I'd take pictures of mine, but the truck is parked in such a way I can't get under the hood right now.

I just noticed that LMC Truck now sells the oil pressure tube for less than 20 bucks.

I just pulled a complete harness out of a 76 C10 I'll dig it out and see if I can figure it out. From looks of your picture looks to be on the taillight harness. It's the flattest connector of the 3 that go in fuse box. There's not much to electrical system of the 70's trucks compared to the mid 80's
