i have done alot of work to it
350/muncie 4 speed

12 bolt rear

welded in my home grown sub frame connectors and welded the unibody together for strength
sand blasted the underbody and engine bay painted gloss black

rebuilt suspension and alot more stuff to much to list without making it a build thread witch i have on h-body.org

the whole under body is sweet shinny black if the rest looked as good i would be happy

What's the 12 bolt from, and did you have to narrow it? Also, what was the purpose in all the new welds on the unibody, just to further strengthen the factory spot welded areas?

it is a narrowed chevelle 12 bolt i bought a 73 vega drag car that had it in it
back in the day don hardy race cars sold kits to narrow 12 bolts for vegas

and ya the factory quality on vegas was **** spot welds break all the time. so i welded along the fender wells inside and out like that anywhere i tought would make it stronger. and built sube frame connectore from 2x3 8th'' wall rectangle tube.

My brother in law once had a Monza Spyder with a 350 and a 12 bolt in the rear, I always wondered what the 12 bolt was from. He only had the car for 14 hours before an old man ran him off the road and he hit a tree at about 50 mph. It destroyed the car.

i am anal about building from the ground up most of the time my projects look awsome underneath and the body and paint takes longer.

i can not see putting all the money and time into something that is ugly under all the pretty
