Soooo, while she looks a little rough, I just have one little bit of rust at the rear window, and body work is done. I will use 3M seam sealer, and clean/paint underneath with epoxy primer and paint to protect the body, may rhino line the fender wells. I plan on a mini tub also. The engine is a LS1, out of a 2000 camaro: 1999 - 2001 Camaro/Firebird/Corvette LS1 = 9354896 = 512kb, this is the ECU, I already have an HP tuners, and have tuned some. The transmission is a T56. The front end is stock, but brand new everything, including brakes. I am planning to start with this in May, have money and some help. Question? Has any member transplanted a LS into early Nova? I probably will buy adjustable motor mounts, a rear crossmember, to help with fitment, maybe a new pan as the steering may interfere. Third pic is a C3 corvette front I built, almost done, may use this. Looking for anyone that has done something like this.

I also have a 355 circle track motor, runs very good, and sounds great. The TH350 out of the K20 is also excellent, though I know I will have to change the tail housing to fit the car. This would be quick and dirty, and get it on the road, a good option as I am not getting any younger. I will use the stock rearend for now...but will swap in a 8.8 or 9" ferd, (cheap, plentiful,) and rear suspension down the road.

I also have a complete 94 Z28 Camaro, LT1, 700R4, posi. Everything could be swapped, engine is strong. 700R4 will go into the C20 with the 6.2 Detroit diesel....if it will bolt up, giving me OD, and easy swap. What to do? Anyway, I will hire a guy to help with body work, (found a former co-worker that has agreed to work weekends with all the car stuff. Sharp with cars, and nice to work with.) Have a ton of parts, all new rubber, interior is all done. So here is the initial plan, feel free to interject your thoughts with any advice. I bought this car as a Divorce present to myself, fifteen years ago....time to get her on the road.
1) strip and paint the interior.
2) paint underside of car.
3) finish and paint the body.
4) trial fit sb gen one and TH350 get all that situated, yes I have the Moroso pan.
5) rewire W/plans for the future LS swap, but run the 355 for now.
6) assemble all the doors with new gaskets, thinking about electric windows? Glass install, trial fit doors.
7) Pre install front end and new fenders hood and adj fenders/hood/trunk etc to get everything as it should be. Probably do this B-4 paint, makes sense.
8) finish install engine/trans as one unit, mod driveline if it needs it.
9) I will install the biggest radiator I can fit, with dual electric fans.
10) Have a MSD 6AL, but will need a dizzy, but since the LS1 will be going in later, might just use a stock HEI.
This will pretty much get her on the road, besides the little things...

Personally, I'd save cosmetic bodywork and paintwork for last. Just do the underside surgery first and put it all together and get everything gapped and fitting well. Then do the engine and drivetrain. The reason being that it's hard not to screw up the body and paint while doing all the drivetrain stuff.

Then I'd also go straight for the LS1 and T56. Imho, that's too much work, doing the drivetrain twice.

Did you mean C4 front suspension?
