hey guys I got 4 19.5 rims today just need 2 more they are off a p30 truck, the brand is accuride, here they go.

It going on a 1 ton dually 2wd . What size tires do you guys recommend , I know most use 225/70/19.5 , so is that what I should go with. thanks for looking

Cause it's kinda neat, makes the truck a little like a big rig.

I know quite a few on the RV forums use them on the SRW trucks for the tire load rating for towing the monster 5th wheel trailers or slide in campers.

And the tires last 100,000 miles or so. Some of the 19.5 rims look pretty good also.

After riding in a empty 1 ton with 19.5's i would never install them on anything i own. very rough riding tire.

Glad to hear a performance benefit to this. I never delved into doing this to a pick-up. My dad drove our truck/slide-in camper combo for 25 years on 16" wheels and I never felt it was an unstable set-up.

So my next ?.... Why not go to 22.5's? Don't people do this also?

Mostly it was from the fear of having a blowout with a "weak" load range E tire. But a blowout could happen with any tire.

There have been some that have put the 22.5 super singles on trucks. (445/50/22.5 tire)

I was thinking gloss black, with chrome center caps and lugnuts, but the white might look good, but it may standout to much.
