I have decided to go with 32/11.5-15 tires and I'm going to get 15x8 white spoke wheels and paint them body color with factory rally wheel trim rings and center caps like the Desert Rat had.

Stock Rally 15x8's were 4 3/4" backspace weren't they ? but mostly I find 4 or 3.75 I'm not sure I can get 4.75. I suppose 4 would work.

any advice ?

Anything more than 4" backspacing will hit the tie rod on a 15" wheel.

I'm sure that's right, I pulled a wheel off and it's 3 3/4" . I think I found an original set of chevy 15x8 wagon wheels.
