Hey guys,
Just finished my TH400 to SM465 conversion over the Christmas holiday and now I'm ready to get back to tinkering.
Eventually I want to convert my C20 to a K20, but I don't have time for the PITA its going to be with suspension, sourcing parts, T case room, etc...
So for the mean time, I want to do something about my 1 wheel drive issue I'm having with my 14 bolt rear end.
In the snow, if I keep my bed shoveled full, I can manage to get usable traction on the road, but as soon as I get on grass or an especially slick area, it's over. Not to mention driving around the farm in the spring/ summer with all the mud.
What are my options about adding a diff lock on the 14 bolt? A quick google search yielded the "Gov-Lock", which the internet didn't praise highly. Are there any other diff lock-esque things I can do to get both wheels under power? Thanks!
