Quick question for everyone if I swap out my 10 bolt for a 44 do I have to change any steering components or spindles? I just did ball joint on my 87 V10 and found a 44 and a 14ff for 250 and don't want to have to redo ball joints again.

The whole thing bolts in, but if you want to use your new ball joints, you can just swap on your current knuckles with the ball joints already pressed in. Or of your front axle is the same ratio as the new rear axle, you can just swap on the 8-lug parts and keep running your 10 bolt.

Haven't picked it up yet a buddy has it and I gotta source the cash. If I do get it though I don't think they will be put in until the lift. Due to the fact I'm gonna regear to 4.10 or 4.11 and need some 8 lug rims

You're going to regear the Dana 44 after you install it?

Plan on it yea. Its getting a 8 or a 12in lift so I'm going for stronger axles and don't feel like shelling out a grand for a 60 right away.
