ok i have a set of 1.6 CompCams Rollertip Rockers that i got from a friend. I want to install them in my truck but i need some info on installing them.
They are 1.6 Ratio
1: What other parts do I need? eg... guide plates, studs, etc
2: Do I need to machine the heads? eg.. pushrod guide holes
3: What kind of gain will i get?
4: what are the cons?
my engine setup
350 4 bolt main (unsure of being bored out or not)
400 heads 2.02 intake ?.?? exhaust (PnP'd)
edlebrock torker 2 intake
edlebrock 650 cfm carb
"ASUMMEABLY" Stock cam
hedman headers w 2.5" exhaust
Accell Billet dist.
turbo 350 w/ 2500 stall built internals
10 bolt 1 wheel peeler! LOL
no a/c, smog
Electric fan conversion
160* therm
I must say that the motor is really strong where i really suffer is the fact that my rear-end is garbage 2.73 1 wheeler. <------ she still gets up and goes but not like she should. (but i'm working on that)
I got these rockers for working on a friends 4-wheeler. Not a bad deal I guess.
