I need advice on what size wheels I can fit on my 1981 c10 fleet size stock suspension height
I want to put 22” Forgiatos
How wide can the front and rear be without modifications?
What backspacing ?
Any help will be appreciated thanks
Picked up these vintage keystone turbine mags 15x10, two have 4" backspace other two 3.5" backspace. 4 1/4 center bore, bolt pattern 6 on 5.5. Came off a 72 blazer.
My k10 has a 6" lift and a 10 bolt rear geared 3.08. Refreshed 700r4 with trans go kit.
Hello!
I have a 1976 C10. The ride is bone stock and I’d like to keep it that way for the most part. The only thing I really want to change is in a perfect world I could find some 15 or 16” stock looking wheels that are wider with better backspacing and allow a wider tire solely for...
Hello,
Have any of used bolt pattern adapters?
How do they hold up? Are there downsides to using them?
I want 17x8 up front. That’s not a problem.
I want 17x10 in the rear. I can’t get the rims I like in a 5x5(127).
I can get them in a 5x114.3.
Thoughts?
I made a post recently on a certain set of wheels and ended up opting out. After research and measuring. I think I’m going to go with some American Racing wheels that are 17x8 and buy some 245/70/17’s to match, I know 245 is pushing it for that wheel width. But wanted opinions on if that would...
Can anyone point me to a reference guide or have any information to share on what factory hubcap options word for 1973 C10? These are mine, but I’m wondering if these were the highest option that year, and when the steelies with small center cap and beauty ring came out. Thanks.
Recently came across this listing on BaT with someone running 35s: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1985-chevrolet-k10-silverado-2-2/
I know the tires are 35x12.50r15 and not sure about the wheel specs. I thought the general consensus here was that you needed a 4" lift with 35s to fit but that...
I am looking for information on tire width vs. wheel size. I have a 1978 C10 (BIG 10) with stock wheels. I through on some tires at local shop just to get me down the road as previous tures were dry rotted. I am looking at lowering the truck slightly and I saw a guy running staggard on 15x7...
So my newly-acquired pickup has the original 8.75x16.5 tires on the back, though it has 16 inchers on the front. I'm having a heck of a time finding low cost options for the rear. I'm looking for something to just get me by while i'm working on the rest of the truck. Basically looking for...
I am new to picking out wheels and tires, I am hoping to get some pointers. I have a 1985 Chevy C10 fleetside long bed, I am looking to run wide rear wheels in the rear. I want to run the widest possible wheel without tubing the bed, I want a 15-17inch Rim with a lug spacing of 5x5in (5x127). I...
Hi first time posting.
Looking to get new wheels for my k10. Have crappy 10” wide wheels with spent tires so I’m trying to get a new setup before winter comes around. I have read elsewhere that a 4” backspace wheel will fit without hitting anything. However the wheels that I have on now measure...
Im currently running 15x10’s on all four with tires that measure 27” tall and 10” wide. I am lowered 2/4. My current rims are -44 offset/3.77” backspacing, which I don’t like. The rears are ok but the fronts stick out from fender at least 1” too much.
I want to switch to a 20” setup but not...

Hi all,
I've lowered my 78 c10 about 3 inches front and back, and I'm looking for new wheels and tires. I want 20s on it, and I know you can put 20x10s on the back, but is that okay on the front too, or does that make sharp turns iffy?
Thanks,
Ryan
My 85 K10 diesel has eagle 16" aluminum alloy wheels. I run 265/75R16 10 ply tires. They look great on the truck. My problem is my slide-in camper. It weighs 1100 lbs. The truck can handle the weight fine with the 3/4 ton springs front and rear. It is the thicker alloy wheels that bother me...
Hello everyone. I just picked up a 90 4x4 GMC Suburban a couple months ago and right now it has the 15inch wheels wrapped in 235/75/15 tires.
I am looking to upgrade to 17x8 wheels with 0 offset and 4.5 backspacing. I Don't want to do a lift, but not sure how big of a wheel I can get away with...
Hi guys, i’m new to group. I have a 90 2wd 2500 suburban. I got it just to put a big stereo system in it, so it’s not a daily driver. Stock height, if that changes it will be lowered, maybe not.
I want to put some 24” or 26” wheels with low profile tires on it. Anybody else ever done that here...
