MadOgre I will price some of the tranny coolers. Good idea, im sure a good cooler would be worth the money.

Driver, The truck has a TH700-R4 so even with the 4.88 I can cruise down the hwy. But I feel like anything over 65mph is really throwing money out the window.

New guy (need advice)

Hi everyone, New to the site. I have a 85 K10. Recently added a 3 in body lift, 35in tires, detroit trutrac rear diff, and 4.88 gears. Trying to figure out engine ideas. Im contemplating getting a crate 350 from jegs ( goodwrench 350ci) adding the holley pro jection kit (670cfm 2bbl)...
