    I got it fired!!! Turns out it was the stupid cheap plug the 3 wires from the distributor plug into, I was messing with it and broke one of the clips, so I pulled off the one from the old harness, and it would not work, so I plugged the wires in with out the plug and it fired right up! Anyone...

    OK, last update for tonight! I tried the jumper from the battery to the terminal, nothing! I plugged in a tac wire, and as soon as I hit it with the test light, the light came on, when my wife cranked it over, it flashed....

    side note, I do have to jack with the tilt steering to get it to turn over! Just thought of that, maybe a short in the column?

    There is a ground wire from the body to the back of the head, noting off the distributor...

    Yes sir, rebuilt this distributor everything but the springs in it. As much as I spent on parts, I could have bought a brand new distributor! I'll give the jumper a shot tomorrow. Just to clarify, your talking about the small one that is next to the tac?

    I have replaced all the wires inside the distributor, and a new pigtail coming from the battery, and the one from the module to the cap with the resistor...and it does turn while cranking...

    UPDATE: Ricko, this is an aftermarket crate 350 with HEI, no knock sensor....So I have now replaced the cap, coil, rotor, button, 2 modules (3 total), the pig tail from the module to the distributor, and a new pig tail for the batter, currently no tack. I replaced the pickup coil today, got...

    Hei distributor, 12V coming in, nothing coming out. I have replaced the cap, coil, module, rotor, button...checked ground strap, cant get any spark. The rotor does turn while cranking. I am stumped, any help is appreciated! Even put a new 12v pigtail on it.

    new brakes, wheel cylinders, everything...I will defiantly take the rear cover off! The only reason he sold it is because he ended up finding a 12 bolt for his. Stay in his garage for 2 years and he was tired of moving it around.
