    AC Conversion Questions

Some orifice tube notes from when I put the AC back in my '84 with R-134 and a Sanden compressor... I think a stock orifice tube is stock is .072" and it will work fine with the stock one. I read where a slightly smaller orifice works better, so I tried a .067". I'm running a UAC EX5296C...

    AC Confusion-Need Help

See if this link to RockAuto works. The link is for an '84, but should be fine. Note that there are two types - Low Pressure Cut Off (LPCO) and High Pressure Cut Off (HPCO). The one you're looking for on the Accumulator is the LPCO switch. You're past this, but if anyone else is looking -...

US Mag wheels lug nut suggestions

@JD Miller I ordered a set of 20 and it came with a thin wall spline drive socket. You can also order the socket separate if that's all you need (I bought a spare to keep in the truck). Note that there are different spline counts, so the lug nuts and socket need to match (six vs. seven, etc).

    LMC Dash Pad Supplier

USA1 quality is great, but lead time, expense and questionable customer service steered me away from them. Cheyenne has a good reputation but I believe they've stopped using steel frames for their dashes and have gone to ABS. Don't really want plastic structure. I recently ordered a Brothers...

Are OE lug studs long enough? 77 C10

Summit has -->these that have the correct knurl for the front (.620) but you'd have to cut them down from 3". I haven't run across anything for the rear knurl (.535). If you're willing to drill for a larger knurl, the options open up.

    Compressor fittings dont fit

@Craig 85 Is your Evaporator fitting (to the suction-side of the compressor) a #12 to #10 reduction fitting? I'm going to use a similar Accumulator with fittings at the top (not the J-tube variety) and I'm thinking a 135° reduction fitting there would help me run that hose to the rear as you...
