    1979 Trans Am - 25 years in a garage

    I had a 79 in hs with the 400/4spd. wish I had kept it. rebuilt the engine, had the quadrajet tuned, it was pretty quick. po had cut the shaker open and replaced the back plate with a screen, so it would actually suck in cool air. miss that car a lot.

    the seat in my 74 folds forward. I know its the original seat, gramps didn't spend any money on things like a different seat when he could just duct tape this one and cover it with a seat cover.

    im still running full time in my 74 GMC. I figure if it aint broke, don't fix it. Its proven itself over many years of use, with no issues.

    I got owned. It's not a TH400 . Diff between TH350 vs. TH375

    my 74 has a t350, and it hauled hay, fuel, fencing supplies, and pulled a grain trailer for 35 years with no issues.

    its been a few years, but if I remember correctly, they just press fit into the hub. think I carefully pried the ones in my old 75 out with a screwdriver. many years ago

    one of the pos that owned my dually welded everything he could to the frame. built a bumper for it, he welded the brackets to the frame. then tack welded the nuts to the bolts. then he tacked the crossmembers to the frame, and tacked the nuts to the rest of the bolts. what a huge mess. its...

    my 80 had the rounded style. switched them out with the newer flatter style from an 04. the windows are also more rectangular than oval. just a personal preference.
