Starter install shim question.
I’ll use the 1/8” bit. I think i can manage to access what I need to check with that method. It’s too tight down there to engage the gear and check with a paper clip. I’ll also take a look at the ring gear(that’s the thing the starter engages, yeah?). It looked fine to me when I was installing...- cursh

Starter install shim question.
Hey, I’ve got an 88 square body burb. 454 rwd and I just replaced the starter. Yesterday it started right up. Today, this mess: (see video) This is what the last starter sorta sounded like. What gives?- cursh
