Has anyone adjusted their column up or down? I see some posts of people doing this but different vehicles. -

Well no luck..here's the steering connections under hood..the thing is when I tore into the column there wasn't a snap ring or cancel cam or dust cover..so the steering wheel was completely flush with the column. I guess I'll just live with the gap. -

I think when I lowered the column it caused the column or shaft to move, https://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showtopic.php?tid/300933/Similar to this thread towards the bottom. I believe I need to slide the column towards the steering wheel...will report back -

I removed the 2 nuts that hold the column bracket to the dash and "lowered" the column. Squareroot - will check that coupler out, read in another thread someone suggested that. Just seems like the wheel needs to go another .25 or on the splines. Thanks for quick responses/ideas -

When I initially took it apart there was no snap ring or cancel cam..the steering gap was normal. Since I've replaced those parts now gives me the large gap. With steering wheel off I can move the steering shaft in and out about a .25in. -

Yes...I'm wondering if something happened to the column, I dropped the column in order to get the turn signal switch wiring out. -

I think as Bucket stated I'm missing the plastic "dust cover" so maybe that's why it looks like a large gap. This truck has all kind of mysteries/missing parts -

Is the green stem for the horn spring supposed to protrude through the steering wheel hole? Looks like it's keeping the wheel from sliding back more. -

Tried tightening it with no luck, it tightens just doesnt move the wheel any. When I took it apart the column splines were flush with the wheel. Now there maybe a 1/4 way down. Might take it back apart I don't know? -

Spring is in there, cancel cam, lock plate snap ring...not to worried about horn as I'm missing a couple components. Should I just grab an old socket and smack it with a dead blow? -

Replaced turn signal switch, now have a gap between lock plate and wheel? Do I just need to impact/tighten this suckered down more? -

Mysterious wires/plugs in engine compartment
Real quick not sure what wires/plugs these are inside engine compartment. Fairly long maybe to engine mounted accessories? 1983 K30 sbc forgot colors each wire but here's a couple pics...one on far left has 4wire flat plug wich is burnt- k30Dually

BBC Radiator install issues...
Got a aftermarket aluminum 34x19 core radiator, was wanting to know if there was a difference in the lower pads? Radiator sits about 1.5in too low. I searched but didn't really come up with anything.- k30Dually
