Well, I grew up in Illinois. In the 1990's my folks lived in Champaign, Il., near I-74. They drove east on I-74 to locate the Hershberger cemetery in Vedersberg, IN., just off 74, where some of my Mom's ancestors were buried.
@Stormhawk Welcome from the beeeutiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia! Nice truck!
@Grit dog Small world my direction too. My ancestors on my mother's side were Hershbergers. Three brothers settled in what became Luray, VA in the late 1700's. Luray is an hour up the valley from me. Two...
Handy alright! I used one for pickin' my peaches. I took stiff vinyl coated clothesline and formed it into a 1' diameter circle, attached a plastic grocery bag to it, attached all that just below the grabber so that when I was pickin' too high overhead the grabber would pull the fruit off and it...
There are generally 2 temperature ranges for high temp paints and they sometimes cure at different temperatures. 1200 deg. is the higher end. You may have already checked the specs for the necessary cure temperature for the 1200 deg paint to function properly.
Having been a paint sales rep who also had to try to solve/settle paint complaints, I think what you say is solid. One of the first things to check on a peeling complaint is to check the substrate side of a peeled chip for signs of a prior coating that delaminated, or for contaminants. Paint...
Thanks for the polite correction. It is 1/8" thick, not 3/8". Quite a big difference. I guess my "earth orbit" must have been a lot farther out than yours!

and it is 5 inches in width (front to back), and 8 inches across (side to side), with front and rear...
Pic of the front measurement of the midship bearing bracket depth.
Also note that the driveshaft is 3 piece, with a shorty section behind the mid bearing followed with the rear longer shaft to the differential. The shorty allows for the deeper rear section drop.

Btw: Just returned from visiting Canada's beautiful east coast (NS, a few days before the Halifax fires).
Those panels will melt. Some years ago, I was using my backpack blower and for a moment I had to back up against my C-30 passenger side door (window was open) as I was blowing leaves. I quickly smelled plastic, turned around and saw a 2" diameter area on the top of the door panel that had begun...
