Anyone on 20 inch smoothies with a 3/5 drop?
225-60-17 has a diameter of 27.6". 275-45-20 comes in at 29.7, so the 20s will be quite a bit taller. Wish I could offer more help.- mlsceo

Can anyone identify this rubbing noise?
My son's truck was making that noise. It was bad wheel bearings. You may have a bad wear pattern that's not readily visible.- mlsceo

Old wheel bearing grease cans.
I have a pretty big collection of quart oil cans, all sealed and all metal. The oldest is a glass bottle from the 20's, that one is empty. Yeah, your cans have some value to those who collect them. -

No issues with runout, suspension, etc. My truck runs down the road smooth as can be at 75mph. I'll say it again, it is a very minor modification.- mlsceo

Wheels are not returnable if they have been painted or had tires mounted. Says so on the website where I ordered mine, Coker tire. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Summit website says so as well. Hence the term and procedure, "test fit" I put a little masking tape on mine to protect them...- mlsceo

Wil not hurt the wheel. it is a MINOR modification. You guys are gonna make me go pull a wheel off my truck when it's totally unnecessary for me to do that. Again, it's a SIMPLE solution. Good golly. It's the aftermarket. Stuff happens in the aftermarket. If he had test fit the wheels before painting them, as would be normal procedure for most folks, he would've caught the issue and had the option of returning them. Case closed. No, it won't hit the barrel. And the mod isn't visible from the outside of the wheel either. Small cutting wheel on an angle grinder is the best bet. then just a little clean up. In my introductory post someone asked about my 15x10s, and I noted the mod but didn't describe it at any length.- mlsceo

Look at the pic in post#76. The wheel is 2 parts welded together, the barrel of the wheel and the wheel center. There are 4 welds that join the center to the barrel.
