    '86 C70 427 Ci - Running too rich?

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while but I've been working on an '86 C70 Dump Truck that decided it didn't wanna run anymore. Traced it back to the fuel tank switch. Anyways, as I was taking off the fuel inlet line, I got good flow. I wasn't getting any flow through the little inline filter...

    Sad day... Sold the truck

That would be a sweet rig! But I'm looking for a conversion van with an electrical setup already ran and the cabinets/storage spaces already in. Kind of like a mini RV. I'd just put in a newer TV and replace the VCR with an Xbox, run more power outlets and add a mini kitchen. Kind of like making...

    Sad day... Sold the truck

Yep, I sold my 87. Needed the money, bought a newer daily driver. Using the money to put towards my '46 Chevy build and some mods for my car. Or, I'm looking for an old conversion van to turn into a camping rig . So I'm hunting for an old Chevy G-series conversion van. But I'd like to...

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

Got all the paperwork for the truck, including this big shop manual and the owners manual. Pretty neat stuff. I’m bringing it home tomorrow! Also here’s some more pics of the ‘42: Pics don’t really do justice for how nice this truck is. I don’t have any really good pictures of it

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

Changing the diff fluid is one of the first things I plan on doing and then finishing the brakes. I haven’t gotten a chance to test all the gauges yet, but I know the Speedo needle is broken off. Honestly I might just leave it as it is lol. I don’t plan on driving this truck on the road for a...

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

I ran the numbers on a stove bolt forum chart and got it back as a ‘48 235. But I’m really not sure. You may be right, I’m impressed by your knowledge of these truck. I also figured it was a 235 since the “Loadmaster” decal was on the valve cover but I’m sure it could have been possible for...

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

I’ll definitely get some more pics of that up for you guys! She’s a real beauty I was curious as to what that thumb lift was... this is some very good information! Also yeah I figured the gear ratios in this thing would be insanely high. Thanks!

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

Also this is pretty cool: This truck is gonna live on the same farm as my grandfather's restored '42 Chevy 3/4 ton! The '42 is the original farm truck where he lives. It belonged to his dad. It's got some stories to tell from back in it's hayday...

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

Not really much of a story behind it, my uncle bought it about a decade ago from some guy in Delaware, had plans to make it into a welding truck and just never really got motivated enough to do it. So it sat in a garage for years. He half replaced the brakes, fixed an overheating issue (i think)...

    1946 Chevy 2 ton

Here's my new project truck. She's a 1946 Chevy 2 Ton with a 235 inline 6, 4 speed trans with a 2 speed rear (based on my research of the trans and rear). The motor is out of a 48 Chevy after looking up the casting numbers. I have the numbers for the rear end but can't get any info for the date...

    Power window switch issue

Well I tore the switch apart and ended up breaking it, so I decided to keep tearing it apart and all the contacts are clean so :33:. I'm gonna try and use a jumper and if that works I'll order a new switch

    Power window switch issue

Definitely didn't think of that. I assumed the wiring is ok since it worked 30 seconds before it quit working and the switch felt gummy. I'll give it a look I'll give this a try! Thanks!

    Power window switch issue

I'm just wondering if there's a way to bypass the switch on the switch terminals or connector so I can roll down the window if I can't get it working (while waiting for a new one). It's getting warmer and warmer everyday up here in PA and I just love the music that comes from underneath my truck...

    Power window switch issue

Hi everyone, I fixed my broken drivers side window motor yesterday, and after getting it all back together I was testing it and the switch just stopped working in the down position. The window will only roll up, not down, but both directions for the passengers side does work. The switch feels...

What have you done to your square lately??

Hmmm... can’t think of it off the top of my head... I’ll keep an eye out! There’s someone with an early 80’s square that’s lifted with a blue cab and a rusty red bed driving driving around town. I pass him all the time

What is the worst body work you've seen or done?

I love collecting street signs and license plates, before my great grandfather passed away he had at least 4 sheds/pole barns that were completely covered on the inside with street signs. It was the coolest thing ever
