    Barn doors and door questions

In the past you could get a squarebody without moldings. As well, 1980 was the last time most moldings were held on with screws. You can find this information in the LMC catalogs.

Factory Seats; Why do they suck?

Those seats are super nice looking. Are they leather? Were they expensive? They use the same bolt pattern? If I bought those seats my truck would triple in value.

Factory Seats; Why do they suck?

I think they were the last bench seat that were mushy right from brand new. Seat design started to evolve in trucks in the early 90s. Really personal preference.

    Dual Tank Switch Dilema

Usually the problem is the wrong switch, broken wires or bad ground from the sending unit to the frame. The worst is you are dropping your tanks or taking your bed off. It totally makes sense with a wiring diagram, the correct parts and being able to work on it properly. I have wasted so much...

Factory Seats; Why do they suck?

Totally agree. I only use the 1992-1994 seats in a Squarebody. I use the lower SB legs bolted to an aluminum adapter bracket that bolts directly to the early 90's seat. Fits perfect this way.

    Dual Tank Valve Ground

Just remember there are different switches depending on the year of your truck. Also the big black wire off of the sending unit needs t be grounded to the frame.

Questions about turning a Burb into a 4 door pickup

Cut the top of the Barn doors off and cap the top of them. Depends if you are backing up to a loading dock. Tailgate was fabricated so the latch broke and you could not open again without 2 screwdrivers. I have had broken tail gate on 70's, 80's and 90's. Chevy tailgate right of passage.

A little info about wrench sizes

Every socket works with rounded off bolt heads just add mig welder. This is what all those junk sockets are for. Do not weld your Proto, Snap-on, etc sockets unless you have a lot of cash laying around.
