    Need advice--Camshaft degree issue (maybe??)

    Had to do a double-take, I thought I was looking at my engine! Just degreed mine a few days ago it came up at 107.750 on a 108 desired Centerline.

    Who's worked with lead vs bondo?

    I know they use brass as well for pinhole work. I saw them do it on American Hot Rod, Boyd Coddington shop as well as on on at least one other show. I'm sure it's much safer than working with lead.

    Direct drum explosion

    It's always amazed me that the Turbo 400 direct drum is turning at 2.5 x speed of the input shaft in the opposite direction. That means at 5000 RPMs in a shift from 1st to 2nd that drum is turning 12,500 RPM, and has to be stopped dead to complete the 1 to 2 Shift!!!

    I've been burned by schlockauto aswell. Absolutely NO customer service, they leave you holding the bag even if you make the slightest mistakes on the website, no one to appeal to. I use Advance auto, the best customer service and 25% discount codes. Even ebay using paypal gives better...

    396 cam choice

    God willing I should be getting lunati 10110 701 k Cam Kit. Spoke to Tech and they said no problem with my 8.5:1 402. The 10110700k would probably be slightly more streetable but what fun is that!!!

    700R4 help

    I have to agree with our English mate that the 3-4 clutch is the weak link and this trans is on its way to becoming a 2 speed. Manually shift it from 2-3 and 3-4 and stretch it as long as you can.
