Thanks, do have much experience with running 35's? The truck will never really see a lot of off-roading. Just the occasional gravel road for wood cutting and hunting season. I've been told I should be fine with a 4" lift but then guys at Les Schwab say it needs a 6" lift.

    6" lift questions

Let me ask my buddy about the 6" lift questions you had. He sells the lifts and does a lot of off-roading.

    6" lift questions

That's kinda what I have heard. But then the guys at Les Schwab tires are saying I have to have a 6" lift.

Yeah I got really lucky. Even the interior is really nice. I'm hoping to put a 4" lift with 35's by the end of the year.

Thanks Thanks, The truck was worse when I first got it. I have already swapped motors, new exhaust, and put new lug nuts & center caps. Fortunately there is no rust in the truck.

    6" lift questions

Same issues I have a 86 k20 that I am trying to decide between a 4 or 6" lift. I want to run 35's but the truck will rarely see more than a gravel road. A friend of mine can get rough country lifts fairly cheap.

I have been checking out this site for awhile and just picked up a 86 k20 about 2 months ago. I've already done a lot of work to the truck. But it's progressing nicely.
