Possible to run EFI tanks without the internal pumps?
Am going to be swapping my 1982 6.2 for an injected 8.1 but have run into all kinds of complications. Intended to continue to run the 6.2 until the 8.1 and trans were rebuilt and ready to drop in but the truck has these huge aftermarket tanks that are in bad shape, keep sucking up water and crap...- IDtag

Anyone running an 8.1, what trans are you using?
Am in the process of rounding up parts and pieces for my 1982 dually. For anyone running an 8.1 what trans are you using? Only plan a cam swap on my motor so not a serious build. Have a 2003 Suburban with the 8.1 so planning to swap that in. Unfortunately it's a 4x4 so can't use the 4L85e...- IDtag

Trying to identify aluminum dually wheels, need to replace one.
Finally got my tires for the 1982 dually but discovered one of the wheels is bent. Would rather replace than repair since it's also pretty corroded, other 3 wheels are in good shape. Anyway, they have Alcoa center caps but no stamp and instead of 8 holes these have 10. I've seen these on square...- IDtag

1982 C30 looking for 4/6 drop. What did you actually get versus what was advertised?
Am working on putting together parts & pieces to do a 4/6 drop on my 1982 crew cab dually. Measuring where the truck sits right now I think that'd be about right.
