    E-brake options after BIG lift?

Thanks! It is probably lifted a little over a foot, so would have to be a very noticeable extension.

    E-brake options after BIG lift?

I am trying to find a solution for extending the e-brake cables coming from the rear drums. This is a '78 K10 but I installed 1-ton axles. 1. This truck is lifted VERY high. I've read a lot about getting these for 4-6" lifts but I'm going need more than that. 2. I also would prefer not to do...

    More Washer Pump Questions

Honestly that would be your quickest and cheapest fix. You can get resevoir/pump combos on Amazon for 15 bucks, then you just run power to that pump and pull the wire from your squirter motor to ground it (turn it on). Too easy. Here's a link to one that has everything you'd need...

Any explicit help on removing AC components and keeping heat?

Thanks much! I ended up changing to the original heat-only system. I get your point; but absolutely HATE trying to maintain AC in older vehicles.

    Heater Hose Routing

I just did this, and it changes between models and transmissions. My '78 K10 is a manual and stated smaller bottom heater hose (5/8 pushing coolant to the heater core) from the intake manifold and larger top return hose (3/4) straight back to the water pump. I think it would work either way...

Any explicit help on removing AC components and keeping heat?

I ordered it on Amazon, but on a whim today I went to a junkyard and found a donor truck with EVERYTHING I need.... It was almost intact and wasn't even listed on their inventory, guessing that's why it is relatively untouched.

    Kill Switch - once again

I would run separate from your factory horn with an ignition hot wire. In fact I would consider a set of air horns. No one is not going to hear those if you're truck is getting stolen! EDIT: Dang, someone beat me to it!

Need help with 81 c10 radiator

If you don't get the pics you need let me know. My truck's radiator and supports are pretty accessible.

Any explicit help on removing AC components and keeping heat?

Well guys after debating cost and work involved I just ordered an under the dash auxiliary heater. Getting the right parts, even salvage, would have cost more.

    Have you checked your ground?

I feel ya. Had a nightmare getting all the lights to work on my '76. Still needed some other things but my first step was adding ground straps to the motor, frame, cab and bed. You really can't "over" ground a vehicle.

Any explicit help on removing AC components and keeping heat?

I've been trying to get a solid answer online and have had no luck. My '78 K10 came to me with the outer heater box completely tore off. The only thing still there was the blower motor and housing. I want to run heat only, no interest in restoring the AC (if it ever existed). The controls in...

    washer pump not working

These guys are correct about the wires. I just completely replaced that wiring and switch myself dealing with mismatched harnesses. The pink does in fact send ground to the squirter motor from the switch though it changes color somewhere between the motor and switch. Best way to test it is with...
