    Signal/ hazard issues

Additionally the turn signal/hazard switch may be dirty. You could try pushing and pulling the hazard switch a few times. otherwise you will want to try to clean it. you will need to remove the wheel, locking and horn cam to get to it.

How screwed am I? Broken intake manifold bolt hole in head.

I would like to suggest you clean the hole out really well and see if there is any unthreaded area at the bottom. If there is get or make yourself a bottoming tap. This is a tap with a very short lead in on the end. I would tap the rest of the way down the hole backing out after each 1/2 turn to...

    power steering pull and install

Lubricating the threads on the puller with anti-seize and making sure the bearing is greased helps. Otherwise its just a PIA without another set of hands to hold the pump still.

    Drilling through chrome

Drilling a chrome bumper id different than drilling in chrome/moly steel. You will have no trouble drilling your bumper. Use some cutting oil and try to keep from creating too much heat. Deburr and degrease the finished holes and apply a bit of paint or cold galvanizing compound to the holes and...

Welding would be best that way they dont crack out but you can also dimple that spot a bit and use some fiber filler pushed throught the hole and then use filler over it.

For that a shorter mast will work. Thats all short range. Just be sure to tune the SWRs.

Where to mount cb antena on 90 suburban

What is your intentended use and expected range? a 3' fire stick on the roof will work but most likely have a limited range. Tuning the SWR of the system will help. A good tuned system with a shorter antenna can out perform a system with an ideal antenna but less than ideal SWR readings.

    T/L CTSY fuse keeps blowing

This is corect. There is a round 4 wire plug in the rear crossmember. A recent radio install has me thinking they tapped into the instrument lamp circuit thinking it was a ground. Perhaps the light for the climate control. Just a thought because I have seen it before. Otherwise you need to go by...

    Steering Issue - need help!!

I zoomed way in and didn't see that. I think it would be a good idea to use a stethoscope or screwdriver to the ear and touch it on various components and find where the noise is loudest.

Where to mount cb antena on 90 suburban

keep in mind you ideally want to have 360 degrees open all the way around for best SWR performance. mounting it too close to a vertical surface like in back on the bumper will cause your system to have a dead area projecting forward from the truck for send and receive. Ideally smack in the...

    Braking power question

Also note the rear wheel cylinder diameter. I went to the larger ones on my 78 and while it changed the brake feel and stopping power it also made it easier to lock up the rear brakes in an emergency situation.
