Suggestion for final drive ratio
looking for suggestions for final drive ratio. Truck is 87 C10 Silverado turbo 700 R transmission diff is not LSD. With 2.73 gear set, tyres are 295/50/15 Which is 26.6'' high. Engine is 350 long rod , alloy heads TBI roller cam, roller rockers , Hooker headers etc etc. the thing is a slug as...- GTP51

84 C20 stalling when braking hard in drive; not reverse
Chasing a high idle in mine thanks for the help,don't have a pig to pat, so will go chasing vac leaks instead- GTP51

Diff parts in Hawaii
Thanks, I did some google searches as well and was trying to narrow it down to a place that had Chev parts as we are only going to be there for a few days before heading back down under. The idea was buy parts put in suitcase and avoid paying the huge freight costs to get em back home and I can... -

Signing in for the first time
Hi just signing in for the first time, am the owner of a 1987 C10 Stepside 350T700R Black with Chrome wire wheels . The trucks are not rare here is Australia but its kinda neat to have something a little unusual. No doubt I will be on from time to time asking dumb questions. Cheers Geoff- GTP51
