    1982 Suburban tilt steering wheel problem

    I did this a couple weeks ago. Just watch out for the little ball bearings coming out from the retaining rings. Turned my job into a lot of f-bombs and a few extra beers afterwards.

    What do you guys recommend? I have a stock '83 Jimmy beater with 31's. I will probably be off road as much as on, but not anything severe. Mostly the beach, maybe a road trip to Uwharrie once in a blue moon.

    Thanks guys. I have a "new" transmission in the back I need to swap in. Someone swapped an older 350/TH350 combo in it, but tore out reverse. Buddy of mine sold me a replacement TH350 for $250. I picked up some factory rally wheels that I'm going to repaint original. Thinking of going with 31"...
