What have you done to your square lately??

Howd you like that load leveler? I was on the fence about getting that same one and ended up buying a plate that does LS engines and SBCs. Still might buy the leveler and see if I can get an engine and trans out without taking the rad support out.

    1988 IROC-Z

Lamb of God is awesome but a little different from those bands on that bill. They used be known as Burn The Priest in the late 90's. Saw Anthrax last year with Killswitch Engage and they put on a good show. I cant believe all of those guys are still touring though, its like at any point a home...

    Cheap radio

Compare GWH341 to the back of any radio you are considering. In some catalogs they use that number (or equivalent) as a 73-87 model some list as a 77-90, 78-91 etc. I used the female version of that plug for my 91. Is using a later model shaft radio acceptable being its not "correct"? Being that...

    Cheap radio

Looks like you might already be set up, but if that falls through I suggest going with a used oem radio. I think Pyle and Jensen still make shaft replacement replacement radios but they are expensive. If you have no wiring, American International makes radio side plugs that will plug into your...

    Led Turn signal upgrade issues

Interested in the outcome also. I had a 92 Civic that did the same. I removed two leds and put the incandescent back in and the problem went away. I didnt care enough to track down the problem.

    Done with 700R4

Check this thread out: https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/383-to-4l80e-to-np208.16889/ I think after its all said an done there would be a lot of money into this swap. Maybe take the 700R4 to a high performance shop? Then theres the LS swap. If you're gonna do the wiring and electronics might...

Its the small radio. Below is the dash bezel comparison: https://www.gmsquarebody.com/threads/1989-r3500.20599/#post-383738 This site has a bunch of 1988 Burbs in a gallery if you want to see what it looked like originally...

    Truck just quit on me

If you have a tilt column it would be a good time to tighten the bolts at the swivel even if they arent loose. Hopefully the ignition switch fixes the issue, if nothing else you'll have proper operation. Lotta pics in this thread, its not as bad of a job as one would think...

73-87 WINDSHEILD SEAL - DELUXE, Cheap or expensive? does it matter

Maybe brothers truck has a GM licensed restoration / reproduction piece where the local glass place has a standard replacement. I'd drive my ass to the glass place and have a look at the seals. At the very least, the glass guy should stand by a product he sells and installs. Selling crap will...

    1988 IROC-Z

Yea i figured as much. Someone wanted views on their channel and knew how to get us by the heartstrings. Tripower was / is a GM trademark where IROC was a marketing partnership with a 3rd party. It would be the same as Nascar bringing back the Sprint Cup. Who cares, that 6LE car is sweet as hell.

    1988 IROC-Z

I dont think so. First off, IROC stopped having races years ago. I doubt GM would bring back a namesake based on a defunct racing body. And second, thats 6LE Designs car from Sema. http://6ledesigns.com/iroc-z-by-6le/

When life drops your lifter. Throw a low lift cam and LS6 springs at it. As for the front drive shaft issue I really hope what I've read on these threads is accurate or else I'll have bought parts that didnt work. Sounds like you will either spend time searching or money being a test mule on...

2001 silverado project. well, its gonna be a LS1 now, 500hp N/A dreams

I get ya. I guess a full wiring diagram would be much more helpful. As a side note, Frost offers custom tuning that includes free updates for 90s after the initial tune. When it comes to time and money that would be the cheapest and quickest way to get the thing running again. I hear nothing but...

The link below is for a swap into a non LS vehicle but all of the PCM pinouts are shown so you should be able to work backwards from there. I'm not sure the PCM interacts with the BCM and how your accessories work from there. http://lt1swap.com/99-02_vortec_pcm.htm Was thing a wreck or missing...
