    Fuel Lines for FI

Anyone ever use Dormans nylon fuel line for a full run instead of just a repair? Is that an option? Easy to work with, repair, and its high pressure.

LED flasher. What are these wires for?

The one attached to the flasher is a ground. The other leads, I assume, are for reversing the line and load wires in case they dont flash in your vehicle as plugged in.

    89 V1500

Not a bad setup. GMT800 seats were the last comfy GM truck seats IMO. edit: In my mind I read Cadillac Escalade. Lets get some info on that CTS seat swap!

Really cool! Those seats would be great for an overlander but yea they will need some work. What are you going to do about replacement seats?

Welcome! Those are some comfy looking seats! Mold aside of course. Anyone know if those are stock GMC seats? They look like upfitter/conversion seats to me.

I didnt know they still used those on F bodies. Not surprised though. In any case, a little search turned this up. It might steer you in the right direction: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/1500732-98-pontiac-trans-am-vacuum-problems.html

I couldnt find it for the life of me. All I saw in the passenger side area were the light harnesses and horn. Did you trace it back to anything?

    NEED HELP!

I cheated on checking fuel pressure too. Search for a TBI fuel pressure adapter on the google machine. Well worth it IMO. Thats not my pic btw, just something for reference.

    Didn't pass emissions. Help?

You can buy a used tachometer gauge that mounts in the truck and either mount it in the truck or just wire it up to give you the reading and leave it in your toolbox. You can also buy an old mechanics tach meter and get the RPM reading.

    C10 versus k5

K5 vs C10 shortbed + camper shell? To the Squarebody enthusiast it will be a clear difference. To a casual onlooker, probably not too much. I believe the wheelbases between the two models are almost a foot different. The overall length is pretty close but to me a shortbed square with a shell...

    1982 K5 Towing Capacity

I wouldnt run more than 4-5k on a K5 and thats with slightly larger than stock tires, a trailer brake, and stabilizer. Thats my opinion based on the factory braking system and the short wheel base. Remember larger tires will change your effective gear ratio.

I'll check on my TA tomorrow if I can read the knock sensors from the Torque App (im almost certain you can on an F Body). Combined with a Bluetooth OBD reader you can read a lot of data depending on the PCM. I believe theres a free version of the app and the Bluetooth dongle is a few bucks from...

    91’ suburban 6.0 ls swap

This is not the simple way. You 90/91 Burbs have a VSS driven speedometer so it will interface with the LS ECM. ICT Billet makes adapters that allow you to use your Squarebody gauge sensors in the LS engine. Check them out. (this means no removing the cluster at all) 3 week timeline is...

    91’ suburban 6.0 ls swap

You will probably want to find a way to bolt the 4L80E to the NP241 thats in the square. I believe the later model transfer cases drop on the opposite side of the earlier and even if they dont you would need to account for the electronic shifter on the newer unit. I know the 241 bolts right up...

    Catch Cans

They are big in the LS crowd due to the PCV system and running oily air into the throttle body and intake. Some motors consume more than others and it becomes another item to check/maintain as they get full but if the situation warrants, or you want a clean intake then run it. Havent heard much...

    Gas tank cleaning

Small rocks, a chain, nuts and bolts. Some e-85 if you can get it will do a good job of eating that stuff up. If you use nuts and bolts, or rocks take a count going in and make sure they all come back out lol. You can also use a chain and tape it to the tank or otherwise keep it attached on the...
