Dont know if you are aware or not but another note on flat tappet cams is that they require a break in period of 20-30 mins running at 2000-2200 rpm. It is, but the stock olds cam is like 190/200 so its nice bump compared to stock. I didnt want to get too wild because then I'd want to get aluminum heads, raise the compression a bit, etc.- Crispy

Welcome aboard. I always recommend a relay harness as your first lighting upgrade. It will pull current from the battery instead of through the switch.
