    I like Blue

Woah woah woah. Cool it down, too early to be headed down that road just yet. That being said... I like blue with white fleetside stripes.

    Bright headlights?

For a relay kit, just search "H4 Relay Harness" if you have quads or split hi/lo you'll need a split harness for the 4 lights. If you habe single headlights that do both highs and lows, then you just need a combined Hi Lo kit. They'll all have 2 relays, it's just a matter of how the connectors...

Polyurethane bushings on a 4wd daily driver

I have a set of black poly body bushings on my truck. It tightned things up a little bit. Couldnt tell you with the rear end since went from original suspension to a shackle flip with poly bushings. Rode a ton smoother after the shackle flip.

    70s bumper to 80s truck

I believe you'd only need the 70's bumper brackets. Not sure if they changed the mounting location between the frames or not.

    Looking for a cam

I went with the Comp Cams 12-238-2 since it's the same duration as the previous cam with a little more lift. Trying to go for a little more power without sacrificing too much efficiency of having a large loping cam. I know it's still a best estimate, but camquest states approx 300hp / 400 tq...

    What can cause a backfire?

Do you use the same OD size pipes butted up to each other with a band clamp?

    What can cause a backfire?

Aren't you supposed to have any adapters set so they flow into the next pipe like a funnel. If its the other way around, they'll leak.

    What can cause a backfire?

Right before I pulled the engine in my truck, I would have a pretty fair amount of that popping backfires while coasting or engine braking.... Popped the hood later while running, had exhaust leaks all over both manifolds. She was running a little rich too, so my guess is the exhaust was hot...

Best replacement body and engine mounts

I've had mine for about a year now and there's no visible change or anything with em. I liked how it tightened the feel up a little bit too.

    What can cause a backfire?

Then you'll just increase the efficiency of the engine and drop a few lbs. Sounds like a win-win to me.

    Shocks

I've been considering going to fox or king shocks. Havent talked myself into it yet since money is always tied up into other areas haha. Currently running a set of rancho rs9000xl shocks and I like em. Can adjust them to your preference especially helps when you flip between an unloaded and...

    Binding while turning

Is it binding or are you getting axle wrap? I've got a bit of axle wrap on my truck that you'd only notice on a sharp left or right turn. Biggest source of wrapping in my truck is in the front springs.

    Looking for a cam

Currently sitting right about 9.5:1 Domed pistons, block has been decked before, 76cc heads and gonna use fel pro gaskets. May swap heads down the line to bump up CR to 10-10.5:1, but that's a ways a way. As she sits, truck is currently 55-5600 lbs running 35's with 4.10's. TH350&NP203 as...

    Looking for a cam

Dad cracked a head back in the 80's out in the desert and it got replaced. Combustion chamber and valves are the same. Only difference may be the actual port intake size as well as the coolant openings seem a little different too.

    Looking for a cam

Was planning on doing a little porting to them. Especially port matching since the casting is a bit rough on a couple of the intakes. Just to see if I could get them to flow a bit better than stock.

    Looking for a cam

I'm open to all suggestions, was just throwing the two out there that i had been looking at. What's the max lift we can get away with on stock cast heads? 0.470 without machining?
