that forklift is a beast. we got it for free. did a headgasket and its been fine. we brought it to the exhaust shop to fix the rusted stuff, and they put a glasspack on it as a joke LOL. Thing sounds gnarly.

    '77 throttle pedal position sensor.

I bought a '77 crewcab(just the cab, silverado trim) and while disassembling it I noticed it had a little linear potentiometer the bumped against the throttle pedal. I assume this was some sort of early style TPS. Is this what it is? and what was it used for?

    73-76 Doors, all 4

I have the door panels, well minus the arm rests. But the plastic bases and decent wood gain inserts I have. I'm looking for doors, complete if possible with glass, latch, and inner and outer handles at this time. I can source the thicker OE glass from 77-80 doors if need be. This...

    73-76 Doors, all 4

Hi, I'm looking for all 4(both front and rear) doors from a suburban or crewcab that are the early doors, 73-76, which have the small door panel. I'm located in New Orleans LA but I'm willing to travel for good parts. LMK, thanks.

    Hot Rod Power Tour 2017

I went last two years. Unfortunately, I won't make it this year. It's a blast. Anyone who can take that long off of work should go.

    Crewcab Floor and Rocker Questions

Alright great. It appears my cab is untouched. I just need to put it back how I found it. Easy enough. Thanks

    Crewcab Floor and Rocker Questions

completely agree. and I'm not very educated on the subject either- I only found the pictures after much digging. I'd still like someone to confirm for sure. Seems to be all correct. So strange they are pieced together with a million seams and overlap/lap joints.

    Shortbed Floor

The guys that live along or near I-20/I-40/I-70 are the ones who can make this happen. Those interstates are the life-blood of getting solid parts East. I wouldn't have minded loading up some extra parts, but I live in New Orleans which is kind of an 'end of the road' type city.

    Crewcab Floor and Rocker Questions

Hi all, I picked up a new cab to start my restoration of my previously 'restored' '76 C20 3+3. My current cab has already been patched terribly and un-safe. The floor supports are cut back, and never extended again to each the inner rockers- and many of the panels are overlapped and just...

    Shortbed Floor

What's the problem with driving over 200 miles for clean parts? I just drove to Dallas this weekend from New Orleans for mostly clean sheet metal. Sometimes the longer drives saves you many, many hours later on.

Parallel or Triangulated 4 Link With a PanHard Bar

to each his own. Panhards when setup correctly perform fine. Bags/coils/leafs. You'll have to call RideTech and enlighten them that they have been doing it wrong for 15 years. lol.

Parallel or Triangulated 4 Link With a PanHard Bar

while never perfect for centerline axle alignment, panhards do a damn good job for how simple they are. Whether you want to admit it or not, your buddies setup probably could use some good tweaks to get much better performance out of the panhard. On a solid front axle though, panhard is the...

Sending Unit difference- gas vs diesel

yep- current I have 3 outlet senders with two of the lines plugged off. basically a feed with no return or vent. So I'm going to put it all back together when I short bed the truck to be a single feed on each tank and a vent(2 line). Then when I diesel swap I'll modify one sender to be a...

Sending Unit difference- gas vs diesel

OK cool. Man you know all kinds of shit! lol I think I have an idea. I think I'll just use a standard(3/8) feed returnless style sender for now. When I diesel swap later I will just modify the sender for a new 1/2" feed and pull the sock off the 3/8" line and make it my return. That...

Parallel or Triangulated 4 Link With a PanHard Bar

I always prefer parallel with pan-hard or watts link. Bushing life and overall stability is much better. On a solid axle front end on a street driven rig, parallel with pan-hard is the only way to avoid bad bump steer.

Sending Unit difference- gas vs diesel

On the 3 line sending units, what is the difference in the gas vs the diesel? Was a sending unit ever made with a 1/2" supply and 3/8" return + vent? TIA

    Crewcab Door Panels

I don't have them unfortunately. My truck has the later door panels on it and I want to revert back to what is supposed to be on it. Color is not important as I will probably wrap them- but they would need to be of fair condition. Crap! this is what I was worried about. I'll start...

    Crewcab Door Panels

Does anyone reproduce crewcab door panels for the 73-76 trucks? I see LMC has the front doors, but not the rears. Are the rears by luck the same as the fronts? Any ideas?

Parking Brake Cables '76 C20 CCLB

The new cable was $9 so it wasn't expensive to just buy new. And I only need it for a few months anyways and I'll have to find a shorter one. Unless I can find a cable that is 172".
