Irish's pickup from hell, the 454SS.

I dont know what is under the hood but I plan on finding out. There is no way its stock, this thing is downright scary to drive at times. The seat is going, I am trying to trade someone those seats for a stock bench one. I have ads on local stuff and craigslist. I am about to just throw milk...

Irish's pickup from hell, the 454SS.

Every time I look at it in the driveway I get a boner. I seriously just want to hump this thing every time I see it. Bitches actually smile and wave at me when I drive this beast. My favorite thing about this pickup is I can haul garbage to the dump really fuckin fast, like nothing will get...

    Stripping cab floor down...

I put dynamat in my doors recently and its some bad ass stuff. My suggestion would be to get a pressure washer and blast the hell out of the floor, scrub everything really good with degreaser and just apply the dynamat to the existing paint on the cab and put the mat over that, dont stick it to...

1981-1987 GMC Pickup Truck Door Weatherstrip Kit

I might end up getting one of these, my wing window gaskets from LMC are literally falling apart in chunks. The window channel felts I got are all screwed up and it takes everything I have to roll up my god damn window.

Almost forgot, get three of the hub seals just in case you screw one up.

Front Brakes - replace? turn? etc?

I think rotors should always be turned when you do a brake job, with everything involved anyways why not recondition the surface that is the main thing stopping the vehicle! When you go to get the rotors turned just head it to Napa or any other real parts store that has a real brake lathe. If...

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

Those Chineese are getting even more crafty, somewhere in a factory some guy was looking at bins of pneumatic tires and thought "Armericrans would buy the shit out of monster tricycles". I think it looks pretty cool.

    78 Jimmy steering issues

Exactly what Phil mentioned but I figured I would ask if there is popping noises coming from the front end when you turn. the link that goes from the steering box to the steering knuckle usually gets hammered before anything, mine was so bad I could barely keep my 85 between the lines. If you...

Funny you mention that, the mine I work at also uses all fords and they all have the exact problem. Most every van and pickup does it.

Yeah dude, just start playin with your dreidel and shop away. I find all kinds of good deals man, recently I got a wrench set that was 5/16th to 1in for around a couple hundred. Same wrenches off the truck would be over double.

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

Im switching all my stuff to snap on since I got a 3/8's rachet, the clicks felt so nice I had to have it. Mine was 101 bucks brand new off the truck for just a regular length 3/8's rachet. Look around on Ebay, you can get snap-on alot cheaper.

Zombie Defense / Assault Vehicle Build

I dont think I have ever run an entire tank of fuel through a 10T in one shift, I have had to run the piss out of it for 12 hours too. Last night I managed to run an 11R out of fuel in like 8 hours somehow, I could not believe it. They are a blast, I have way to much fun at work sometimes...

I must say, I have got alot more harbor freight stuff lately than I planned on but its stuff thats going to sit on a shelf until I need it. I got another gas powered pressure washer like my first one that got stolen and this one was only 75 bucks, its still running like a clock. My last trip...

    What was your first Vehicle?

My first car was a 86 Mazda 626 with a screwed up transmission, it only had first gear and nothing else, not even reverse. I drove that car around the small community in New Mexico I grew up in for a couple years and ended up with a 91 Geo Metro as my first road legal car.

    The 64 Ford Galaxy 500.

This thing runs and drives around, I just rebuilt the carb and it PUURRRSS. Stay tuned for a tune up and gas delivery system clean out so I dont have to run it with a jug of gas on the hood. Betsy scored a set of NOS tail lights still in the boxes off ebay for cheap.

    The 64 Ford Galaxy 500.

So my wife found this thing on craigslist and HAD to have it. We drove to see it as soon as we hit Tuscon and that afternoon the guy delivered it to my in laws house so I could stash it in the garage. I borrowed my in laws F250 and rented a car trailer to get it home.
