Decorative front license plate poll
When I was living in Arkansas they only issued one plate. I was driving through Utah where they require two plates and a local sheriff issued me a ticket for having only one plate. I told him I was from a state that only issues a single plate, and he said, "You're in Utah now, son." -

I had a great day. Cutting and splicing the two cabs together for the body swap... and never really knowing if the vision was going to work as it seemed in my head. A week of work with no sure outcome... and the possibility of ruining the cab parts I need to have. But today it all came... -

402 was only made one year if I remember right, 1970. Kind of a rare engine I guess. Well the knob circled in yellow isn't a toggle switch... Haven't any of you guys seen a manual choke? I'm betting that if you feel underneath there won't be any wires, but instead there will be a cable. Does the handle pull out rather than turn? -

I hope this isn't hijacking the thread. I was wondering if anyone has used a four speed Hydramatic trans and tossed the turbo 350/400 from their truck? The Hydramatic was used in heavy/light trucks as well as passenger cars for many years and I think it was a precursor to the 350/400 trannys...- Travlr

I had a productive day. Chopped up the M37 cab and now I have two partial cabs that I need to put back together as one. Once I get the cab properly mounted the rest should be easier. (Famous last words) -

Welcome... With the prices of new vehicles, especially trucks, I'd consider rebuilding and running something like this the same as an investment. Cheap, reliable transportation that will get you from here to there in the same amount of time as anything newer. And the money you saved will buy an...- Travlr
