    NP203 to NP205 swap questions

It has been a while for me , so I am working off of memory. If your case has a yoke on it , it should be a 10 spline yoke and you may be able to buy a 10 spline ring style or just have a driveshaft made. I dont think the 203 yoke is the same , but pull it off and try it first Your rear...

    Off road carb setup

I have not had a q-jet in oem form , mine have all been jet carbs and for sure are better in everyway over the eddie. I like the small q-jet primaries for crisp throttle response and better mileage and when you smash it down then you have plenty to haul the mail. The eddie would do that to if...

    Painting over stock paint?

If the clear or paint is lifting you will need to get all of that off , then do your body work , if any , sand the whole bed , then use a sealer and you are good to go. I always head to the paint store and b.s. with the guy's and they always hook me up with what I need. I am a rookie , but I...

    Off road carb setup

I have ran that set up on an eddie carb that was on my 74 longbed and it worked very well everywhere except really steep side hills . I am not an eddie carb fan myself but thats just me. Took the eddie off and went to a new jet , q-jet and it was way better on and offroad. Now on all my square's...

broke the blazer , but fun

Went wheeling all over dixe and found out how far the suspension will flex , enough to bottom out the front driveshaft and break the t-case adapter . Got her hung up as well and had to use the warn zeon , (worked great) , broke the t-case after that in the rocks. Drove it home , (210 miles) ...

i dont know how 4 wheel drive works

You are all good . I would stay with manual hubs , just lock them when you think you will need 4wd ahead of time. I live in the snow country and I leave my hubs locked most of the time in the winter even when I am not in 4wd in case I need it. I will unlock them if I have to run out on the hwy...

    454 cam and heads

The 781/049's are good heads and they flow better stock on the intake side but about the same on the exhaust side stock. Ported big valve 290's , flow is equal with the two now. With the open chamber heads you have to run a dome piston to get any good compression , the closed chamber heads...

    16x10 steelies

I will have to look in my picture box , (25 yrs. ago) . I liked the look , made the tires look really wide. Also depends on the tire , bfg's side walls come out a bit , I had the old bronco a/t's and they have more tread width and looked really square .
