    I don’t know how fast I was going,to be sure.The speedometer only went to 85,and given the amount it traveled past 85,I’d say 100-105. Did it in a 1980 1/2 ton on one tons with 4.10 and 37” tires.Crate engine with fast burn heads and sm465.

    Ya,I 2nd what bucket said before.That’s exactly why your diff magnet should be clean and in the housing,obviously. I would inspect all after you drain the lube.Spray it out with brake clean.Look down the tubes as well.

    3/4 semi floating axle to full floater swap

    I just swapped the full float 14 bolt for the semi float 14 bolt.I had to have my driveshaft lengthened 2”. The semi float has a pretty long nose.Standard axle on this 84’ model K20 was 4.10 gears.
