    Got under my truck to remove the bolts but after a few turns of breaking nut loose.....bolt just spins in the bed. I'm a one man team....has anybody ever tach welded the nut to the bed to keep it from spinning?

    I completely agree with all of this....rollers arnt meant to roll they just slide in the tracks ...and they pivot like a ball joint as window goes up and down.....Also makes sense if rollers are loose the window can be crooked.....all points make sense ....as long as my window is going up and...

    Yea ...I do know the rollers are kinda like ball joints ....when window goes up and down the regulator moves sorta in and out ...and rollers make up for that movement.....and they slide as well in the slides.....but still makes me wonder if they were all tight when the regulator was brand new.

    So I have to do my Door hinge pins on drivers side, the kit comes with 2 splined bushing and 2 normal brass bushings. Do the splined bushing press right into the hole or am I going to need to drill out the hinge, Anybody whos done this before please chime in.... Thanks so much Mike

    Yea the regulator has to come out in a certain direction, or it aint coming out at all. Also regulator has to be in a certain postion or it will fight you......once you do it a few times its extremely simple.

    Luckily for me ive gotten great at doing these regulators...I can get them in and out of the door quick and easy ....when you've done it a few times its very simple.....but the first time I was cursing lol

    Yea unfortuntly all the teeth on the regulator were stripped Unfortuntly most of the teeth were stripped off the original regulator....so as for its original position that was lost....I might try find a good used oem one if I can and try that...

    Ugh...ive installed 2 power window regulators on my driver side 1986....both make a popping noise when lowered....its a dorman regulator. Nothing is in loose/obstructed. MY QUESTION IS : Does the power motor have to be installed EXACTLY in a certain position on the teeth?
