    If I was to swap my Original SI12 Alternator to my cs130 Alternator in my 1986 k10 there is a pigtail adapter Ac delco PT2145 that could work is this the one i need? My truck has the volt Gauge in the dash .

    Ranch I appreciate the post unfortuntly with my health conditions Im going to have to just plug everything back in the way it was or at least close to it. I am at least covering the original loom with new loom for protection though.

    Wow that is a nice engine bay Ranch. The big 1 inch loom that runs out of the fuse panel Im pretty sure runs across the back of the engine behind the distributor and bolts to rear of the engine Head. It defintley wont go in the cable gutter cuz my oil sensor temp ect wont reach down that far...

    I have days like that where what i read i translate wrong from being too tired. This hinge has been discontinued for a long time so id imagine it will be tough for him to find. But Id love if he found one. I have a buncha health problems and right now I just dont feel like rebuilding my hinge.

    Yes I agree I way prefer OEM Parts...These catalog parts arnt exact reproductions and most of it is made in china.... It's junk that's why OEM/NOS Stuff is so expensive.

    I was warned that the lugs will come loose with Aftermarket wheels and that's why I extended my studs.....my buddy said he would re-torque the wheels every 100 miles.....screw that!

    Another GM flop they made the wheel studs too short....on 4x4 if you run aftermarket wheels you must press in longer studs. Did it to my k10

    Let m ask this when the switch is in the "Economy Vent" mode will heat come out of the a/c vents? Again this is my first k10 and it's apart.
