What have you done to your square lately??

please don’t go back with the auto locking hubs. They are unreliable at best....and the weakest link in that front end.Quick tip, those hubs are prone to unlocking when reversing down a hill.

Think I need new springs? shocks? ROUGH RIDE

I believe the comment about sway bar froze is right on as one of the first things to check. When I first modified my truck,I put the drop brackets included with the lift kit for the sway bar. However, when I made a few other mods and removed the swaybar,my truck gained an inch in lift on the...

    Bed liner on cab floorboard?

Listen to @SirRobyn0.It is loud. You get used to it after a while. But then again,I didn’t go that route on my last interior.I went with vinyl and am extremely happy at how quiet and solid my truck feels.I am running heavy duty floor mats on top.Clean up is easy with compressed air and a rag...

Need some help with my rear differential

Nope, the pitting will most likely not hurt anything (pitting). However,it looks like poo-poo.I say you need to dig in and swap internals. weekend warrior knocks gear swap outta the park...?you can do it.Everybody was a weekend warrior at some time.At least you have 100 videos on YouTube, and even...

3/4 ton studs on half ton help

I will tell you the number 1 reason for broken lug studs is either over torquing or under torquing. Not saying that’s the cause of your particular problem...but from experience, this is what I’ve seen.Ever seen the tire shop and their over air supplied ingersol rand thunder gun (625 ft lbs) put...

    ORD Shackle bushings loose?

So the way I understand it,I’d say,a shackle that’s 1” longer only nets 1/2” of lift.Maybe because it’s only on 1 side of the spring?Sounds good anyway.I think the stock shackles are plenty strong,My 3/4 ton stock shackles are the same as a 1 ton.

    1976 K20 NP203 HELP! So confused!

All of the above mentioned transfer cases are good. Some are better than others.I definitely rate a 241 behind the 205 in this line up. Sorry about your shoulder? Not being sarcastic, but might be from bench pressing 203s.I really can’t say much,I’ve picked up a 14 bolt with out hubs.Same on the...

    1976 K20 NP203 HELP! So confused!

I’d really have liked to have seen that bench press session. You’re the beast @rpcraft.I can do a 205....203 naa Where was you when I needed a SM-465 put in place like that. I’m skeptical....of the 208 vs the 203?Why not a 205?203 has a fixed yoke and it’s already in the truck.

    ORD Shackle bushings loose?

I used the rear heavy duty shackle and bushing kit.All the bushings fit my springs snug.1 1/2”.It was their shackle. But I already had the springs. On a previous build,I reused my old rear shackles and just put new bushings and they fit snug as well. Those boys at ORD know their business,but...

    1976 K20 NP203 HELP! So confused!

Drive flanges, hub slugs. The only drawback to the original equipment was the dust cover would come off, then your hubs would be exposed to the elements. Most of not all new versions of drive flanges have a cover that bolts on. I had a 77’ with the same drivetrain and I liked that truck. It did well...

    1976 K20 NP203 HELP! So confused!

Put drive flanges back on it.Simple, less parts to deal with.Probably be able to find the pieces in salvage yard. You’re gonna end up driving with the hubs locked all the time anyway.
