    I got my precision weather stripping thru USA 1 Industries.Not much a fan of LMC.The price was 149$ for both sides.Includes door,windows.Not wing windows though.Easy to put in and fit perfectly.

    Took the truck for a test drive.Everything works.Truck feels much tighter,if that makes sense.I hate working with vinyl.It is nice once done.Definitely not a winter project.The little buddy heater help get interior up to temp to help manage it.One mod leads to another.Now I gotta redo this interior

    I feel ya.I hate the time change.I hate to get home from work and 30 min or an hour till dark.However,not to sound ungrateful,very thankful to be working. That’s a nice project you have.700R4 has no place in that truck,IMO.More like a NV 4500 or G.V. behind a big block or 6bt.

    The 465 is almost indestructible with the revised 3rd gear kit.Super strong.Lower geared obviously. The 4500 is really good to and a lot of hardcore wheelers use it.That hwy gear is nice.Makes daily driving better experience with less engine noise.The lower rpms will make for increased...

    NP203... no 4 wheel drive

    A 205 would be you’re best bet.I know that there is some after market support for a 203,but not like it’s gear driven brother. My step dad had a f-250 with a 203 that did the exact same thing.More cost initially,but long term better results.IMO

    Buying Advice

    It would be good to take someone with you and turn the steering wheel.Someone mentioned the frame around the steering box.If it was turned lock to lock under load,there will be cracks for sure.You Should be able to see it flex with a flashlight. That’s not a deal breaker but maybe 500$...

    Got the transfer case off really quick.However,my plan with the 465 didn’t go as planned.That damn snout sticking up through the trans hump is a real problem.I tried taking off the 465 and leaving the bell housing on the engine.No go.Will end up unbolting the bell hosing on Friday.Refuse to cut...

    Pcv or not to pcv?

    In my my mind the issue still isn’t solved. I will say I did a fair amount research online when I was setting up my system. I found way more engine pros recommend a PCV valve.And just like Shorty noted on the passenger side. I think you’re on your own here.Good luck!

    I had a 77’ with a 203 and it was a great truck.Had a 400 and a heavy duty 44 up front.It did very well in the sand.I never broke that truck.The only issue I had was the caps on the front hubs.Finally,my step dad machined some for me.We drilled them tapped them using set screws.No more losing...
