    You could put a drop V bumper on the back. I would put a brushguard on the front, and weld or bolt a pipe in the center right below the bumper just before it curves underneath. Since the brushguard is bolted to the frame, could it be considered part of the bumper? Or do you have the stock bumper...

    Top of the rear axle tube to the bottom of the frame is 16 inches for me. I measured from the tube to in between the rear u shaped rubber snub mount. That is with a 4 inch block and 2 inch add a leaf on my rear end. I hope this helps. I say lose the body lift for sure. BTW- I have a half ton...

    I have a 6 inch lift with 36 inch tires. My front bumper is 31 inches off the ground. This is right at street legal height here in WVA. My front spring has 6 leaves as well.

    Thanks everyone for the help and encouragement. The frontend is buttoned up. I just have to add gear lube and grease one side and we are done. I hope.

    Finished setting up and installing the front ring and pinion on sat. I must have torqued that GD pinion nut to 250 foot pounds at least 16 times. I had to take Advil and my shoulder is sore along with bruises on both palms. I was reminded that I am not the young guy I once was. Getting old sucks...

    I have found two guys that do just that. I have seen their ads on CL. I called the one guy. The price for a bed is $1200-$1800 BTW.
