    They are a nice tire, very little road noise, good handling, good traction on wet pavement and they don't throw many stones. perfect for the roads around here.

    Nothing wrong with a 16.5" rim, there are a few company's that still make tires that size. I liked the rims that came with my truck & found the tires was looking for, guess i was lucky.

    Yes, "cable geometry correction linkage" I believe this is why the 700r4 trans has a bad reputation... when you remove the original carburetor (with the correct geometry) and replace it with something else, you will never get your cable adjusted correctly and your 700r4 may fail.

    That's for '81 and up... Not for '73-80 Had to drill some holes to install mine. Make sure you drill the proper size, practice on a scrap piece.

    Exactly... If you are using an earlier carburetor that was paired with a 350 or 400 trans and or a non 700r4 cable bracket, you will never be able to adjust it properly.
