    I'm sure this question has been answere a zillion times on here somewhere. So I made the jump to the Pollack modern dual tank valve. Do I really have to but a toggle switch for the dash?? There's gotta be a way to wire the stock 1977 dash switch? Any help I'll send you a six pack....

    A little help fellas, my 56 yr old brain dumped some 1980's files. Drivers side motor Mount is not lining up..... WTF over??? I put a 454 in my 74 K20 back in the 80's. If memory serves me right it dropped right in???

    Started Raining on me the next day. But I moved the cab back to start exchanging parts from 1 frame to the other. It should be way easier to swap the engine trans & T-case without a cab in the way. ;)

    Took all day. It's a ton of work. BTW the K30 SRW rear spring brackets are different. I think they are the same as a K20??

    Nephew shared a FB marketplace add with me on Friday. 4 door K30 frame and cab with title for $350. I've done the conversion and I can't agree with te other fellas enough. Its way better to find a frame.

    The retreaval of K30 frame is complete. Layin a field down east of Divide Colorado. Usual deal guy bought 1 ton for Diffs. Bare frame $200 I wish I would have found this a year ago.

    I wouldn't say it was a yuuuuge dip and Old Blue with 4:56's can't really go fast. But the engine crossmember is just too close for comfort. I think the 4x4 frame is 2" taller over the front diff than the 2x4 frame. So moving forward I would recommend to anybody that wants to do the conversion...

    It is kinda threaded I'll go out to the shop this morning and snap a pic and check the threads. The part still in the housing actually prayed out like its just barbed not threaded. Weird...
