Lets see, got the battery tray relocated to the driver's side. Mounted the lower radiator support from the donor vehicle, got the mechanical fan, shroud and radiator mocked up in place to make mounting brackets for the top side. Also got the overflow tank mounted in place. The stock LS... -
1981 C10, 6.0 LQ4 swap with Manual Trans Exhaust Question

Used the weekend to get the LS prepped for install. New spark plugs, removed the exhaust manifolds (2 broken exhaust bolts) Found out the oil dipstick tube was rusted through and the main power lug on the starter was broke off in shipping to motor to me. Got the oil pan removed and new lower... -

Over the weekend I got the firewall upper seam resealed. The engine bay cleaned, coated with rust killer, cleaned again, painted with multiple coats of rust encapsulating paint. Got the 87 fuel tank painted, the stock brackets painted as well. the LS fuel pump (Wallbro 350) added to the tank... -

looks like you are pointing to the junction box on the firewall. Its a good place to pull 12 volts constant. only thing usually there is a jumper for the ac/heater blower fan. If memory serves its 12 volts constant, not keyed at all My 81 HEI had a 4 pin connector that went to the...- Drauka99

If doing DBW then the 95-2000 Silverado 6.5 diesel, you will need to switch some pins around or buy a reworked pedal to tac harness (will need to know which model TAC module you have as well).
