Help! What the hell am I supposed to?

Nah, damn things will burn 20 years straight and never burn out. You’ll burn out everything else three times over before you’d be lucky enough to burn out the SES light.

    Cleaning out the shop.

I don’t believe so. This is from a pickup, if my information is correct the rear frame rails on the blazers differ from the trucks due to the rear fuel tanks.

1st Annual N. Texas Square Body Forum Truck Rally

@Vbb199 its a 16 hour drive from here. Not too bad, I’d have to get my vacation time lined up though. Put me down as interested depending on vacation time and finances.

    Fender Antenna

My 78 came with the windshield antenna, even though it was ordered without a radio. Antenna is still there and still working great.

    Trailer brake trouble

After the first test I didn’t have tail lights. I pulled both plugs apart and had two wires crossed up on the truck side. Fixed that, and double checked the trailer side. Everything looked good there, but I’ll check it again when I start back in on it.

    Trailer brake trouble

I have a manual transmission, and I verified that I tapped into the cold wire on the brake light switch. The trailer should have a good ground. Well, it did while I was testing. I ground the paint off for good contact and put a new terminal in with a bolt. Same for the truck side, bolted to bare...

    Trailer brake trouble

I spent most of the day running a new wiring harness on my father in law’s trailer so I can haul a tractor this spring. During the work, I found out that it has brakes. So I wired in a controller that I had courtesy of @Vbb199 and put a 7 pin connector on the truck and trailer. Now, as far as I...

    Cibie fog lights

Well, since I have 3 sets of Amber fog lights, I think I’m going to part with one set. These are cibie iode 35’s. And they do have covers. One cover has a slight scratch. And one of the lenses has a crack, but it doesn’t affect the functionality. I do see replacement lenses come up on eBay from...

    Headache rack ideas

Well, my original thought was to make uprights that sip into the front stake pockets and then bolt them down through the hole in the bottom of the pocket. And then come about 2’ down the top of the bed rails with some angle.

    Curt Trailer Wiring Harness

It appears to, strange though since mine is also a 78. I’ll double check tomorrow after work.

    Curt Trailer Wiring Harness

Do you still have this? Been chasing trailer wiring problems all afternoon, and part of my issue is on the truck end.

does anyone know for sure and have pics of 75k wheels

They could either come with sport wheels, like in your picture, rally wheels, or steel wheels with hubcaps. Of the three the steel wheels would probably be cheapest. Too bad you’re not closer, I have a couple sets of wheels sitting around I’d let you borrow for inspection.

    Best tire on a budget

When I needed tires a couple years ago, I needed the cheapest ones I could get. I was in a money crunch and one tire developed a bulge. The rest were dry rotted. Anyway, I got a set of sailun terramax HT, 31 10.50 since I have a 4x4. They have actually been really good tires. They’ve taken me...

    Wagon wheels? Can’t decide.

They definitely look better with aggressive tires. And for the record, my next set of tires will be 32x11.50. And at least an AT.

    Wagon wheels? Can’t decide.

Currently driving around with wagon wheels on one side and stock on the other side. The wagon wheels are definitely growing on me. Too bad I don’t have a tire machine where I could switch the tires over for a trial run

    Wagon wheels? Can’t decide.

I think I’m keeping the factory wheels. Well crap, now I’ve got two sets of wagon wheels that I don’t need lol.

    Wagon wheels? Can’t decide.

Well, the truck is actually Cordova brown. I know it looks black in the picture, but it’s not. The factory wheels are white, but I guess the big hubcaps break them up a bit more.

    Wagon wheels? Can’t decide.

You know, I was thinking the same thing yesterday as I was sitting there studying it. It would look better with some mud grips.
