    No crank, no start

Apologies, I thought I included that in the original post. I put the old ignition switch back in last night to see if I had something adjusted or installed incorrectly, but no dice. So the buzzer works when the key is in the ignition, the headlights/taillights work, the cigarette lighter...

    No crank, no start

Thanks for guidance! This is the kind of thing I'm looking for. Although, when I search for anything under the Resources tab, I get no results, so I may not have full access yet.

    No crank, no start

I know ground issues can be gremlins, so I'm going to look into this, too. It's just odd that the lights always work, regardless if the no crank, no start issue is occurring.

Yup, that was the first part I replaced. It started up immediately. I turned it off, went to restart it, and it nothing doing

    No crank, no start

When I put the new ignition switch on, it looked like it was being engaged properly, but it hasn't solved the problem. I'll take another look this weekend.

I think the pump is still good. I think it's an electronic issue. Sometimes with key "on", everything works and the pump will prime, then when I try to start it, it won't crank. I try it again, and then the door buzzer and pump won't even work. I replaced the ignition switch and ignition control...

Howdy! It looks like you've got some nice rides! Once I bought my first '89 2500 back in 2020, I knew I couldn't go without one anymore. Not sure exactly what it is, but I can't get enough of 'em. A buddy of mine bought a '73 C10 a couple years back out near your neck of the woods, too.

Right on! I'm over in Hilliard about every day and I used to work in Dublin. My Suburbans are back home where I grew up, though, towards the Lancaster area.

Hey all, I've got two square body Suburbans right now, but they aren't my first ones. Back in 2020, I bought a 1989 V2500 350TBI Suburban with a TH400 sight-unseen from Montana, shipped it to my brother in Oregon, and we road tripped it cross country back to Ohio. I unfortunately had to sell...
