@89Suburban and I were having a discussion and are hoping one of you may know the answer. What determined if a square got a hood ornament throughout the years? Was there a particular RPO or was it random? -

Wow!! Don't think I've ever come across someone who cut a SWB in half and lengthened it. You always see people take the longer frame and then shorten. Very interesting. About a month ago. 96k miles. New brake booster and driver side valve cover gasket and she’s about ready for daily duty. Got her at such a price I couldn’t turn it down. I agree with you but what I kind of enjoyed about it is it reminded me of being a kid in the 80s and seeing trucks like that on the road. At that age it was evident that someone had ordered almost everything out of the Lund or JC Whitney catalog and threw it on their truck :)
